In a scene that uses more 'magical' methods, Lachchi (Rani) is getting ready to go to her parents house, and is in the courtyard, about to leave. The Ghost (SRK), looking down at her from the balcony of her room, doesn't want her go to without him, so he does everything he can to keep her there. With a snap of his fingers, he presents a floor full of rose petals at Lachchi's feet. As she tries to step away, the petals move with her, blocking her way out. She looks up at the Ghost, smiling and pleading with him to let her go. He refuses and continues to move the petals around her. Just as Lachchi agrees not to leave him behind, her father-in-law enters the room, causing all the petals to disappear as quickly as they appeared.

As in all Bollywood flicks you don't find out if everything will be happy endings until almost the very last second and Saathiya really gets your heart a going. Aditya has been searching all night for Suhani after she did not get off the train from work. Little does he know that she has been hit by a car and is in the hospital. He rushes to her side and (sigh) gives a wonderful speech telling her to please come back. His words reach her and she wakes up. Finally, she says I love you, and we all say us too! The two have found each other not only that night but as husband and wife and the romance will live on and on.
